So I’m sitting in a nearly empty office, and listening to Pandora, and thought came to me, what Artist has such a great catalog that you could get an entire road trip in listening to just that artist not want to claw your face off? My choice Jerry Reed, with songs made for driving and a large catalog it would be fun.

Furulunds. They’re a Norwegian danseband, so imagine country-western-schlager... sung in Norwegian. Their three most recent albums are especially good, IMHO, mostly uptempo toe-tappers with a few slower, more heartfelt tracks for variety.

Rush. I’ve done several days of 7-8 hours in the seat and Rush seems to be the one that bugs me least.

Last road trip like that I listened to Blind Guardian, I think the trick though is an artist that has an discography that is varied enough that you don’t feel like you are listening to the same tracks over and over.

I had a Chopin CD stuck in a player for some time. I went Seattle to Charleston (SC) listening to it the majority of the time and it was just fine.

I’d have to say either Joe Cocker or Fleetwood Mac.
Something slow and relaxing, with a few faster paced things for the more fun bits of road I find

Since I used to travel between N. Alabama and Florida a bit(around 7 hours), I can say either Queen or Turnpike Troubadours. Completely different genres. The difference is, with Turnpike, I don’t need to skip songs.
